The Academic Council will be headed by Dr. Pradeep Racherla, our Academic Programme Director. Pradeep Racherla will choose, invite and form an excellent academic council from internationally renowned academicians.
Dr.Aynampudi Subba Rao who is currently heading Innovation Council in IIT, Hyderabad and who has worked for 18 years as advisor to Government in Academic policies will be honorable director advising the Director in Academic Council activities.
Within the general policy of the School, the Academic Council will be formed to exercise the following functions:
- Maintenance of academic standards within the school, planning, co-ordination, development oversight, and review of the curriculum and all academic work of the University.
- Fostering and maintenance of close connections with industry, commerce, the professions, universities, other educational establishments and research organizations.
- Oversight of all arrangements for teaching in the University.
- Regulation of the academic conditions for the admission of students to and their progression within the University.
- Regulation of policies and procedures for assessment and examination of students within the University.
- Development of teaching methods and courses.
- Organizing facilities for research and scholarship and for the publication of papers relating thereto.
